Popcorn

Old fashioned popcorn on the stove. Preheat the pot and shake back and forth, and immediately transfer popped corn out to avoid burning. Good kid friendly snack.

Makes ~8 cups popped popcorn.

MAIN

  • 1/4 cup kernels popcorn, unpopped

Place only 2-3 kernels in stainless steel pot. Cover and apply medium-high heat until all kernels pop. Remove pot from heat, remove popped corn, and add reserved corn to pot, and cover (leave some room for steam to escape,) occasionally shaking back and forth gently. When most kernels have popped immediately transfer popped corn out of pot.
