Healthy Eating

  1. Starches should be enjoyed in abundance. Starches should be main dish, and used for energy.
  2. Vegetables should be enjoyed in abundance. Vegetables should be side dishes and used for flavor and variety.
  3. Fruits should be enjoyed in abundance. Fruits should be snacks and used for flavor and variety.
  4. Nuts should be scarce and limited, but not avoided. Nuts should be used for flavor with herbs and spices.
  5. Meat and dairy should be scarce and limited or avoided. Meat and dairy are not required. Meat and Dairy are optional. Meats and dairy should be used as condiments or for flavor and variety.
  6. Junk foods should be limited or avoided.
  7. Drink water in abundance, and enjoy herbal teas, vegetable juices and vegetable fruit smoothies for flavor and variety.
