Potatoes Dumplings and Sauerkraut

Eastern European dish, baked in the oven to brown, instead of frying in fat. Easy to make from leftovers.

PREPARATION

  • Sauerkraut
  • Potato Dumplings
  • Steamed Potatoes
  • Mashed Potatoes

Key Technique

  • Oven bake for crispness and browning instead of pan fry with fat.

MAIN

  • 2 cups steamed potatoes, cubes
  • 1 cup mashed potatoes
  • 3 cups potato dumplings, chopped
  • 2 cup sauerkraut, drained

In casserole dish, gently stir ingredients together. Bake 450F 30-40m or until brown.
