White sauce for pasta. I’ve tried both white bean sauce alone and cauliflower sauce alone. Better together. The sauce needs to be flavorful because it thinly coats the pasta. I use lots of garlic.
Makes about 2 cups.
- Spaghetti and Peas with White Sauce
- White Beans
- 1/2 onion
- 3-4 (or more) garlic
- 1-2 cups cauliflower, steamed (1/2 cauliflower)
- 1 cup white beans
- 1/4 tsp salt
Spaghetti and Peas with White Sauce
- 1 cup cauliflower white bean sauce
- 1 cup peas
- 1/4 lb (100g) spaghetti, cooked al dente
Warm white sauce and peas together. Boil spaghetti until al dente. Drain and mix together with sauce.
